Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting and be able to perform daily, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, monthly, quarterly and annual fund accounting functions as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to complete various daily/monthly/quarterly tasks, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
  • Owning and being accountable for the timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Monitoring the status of aged and significantly sized breaks, following up with stakeholders as required to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Acting as the primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by the team, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Calculating, booking and reviewing deal-wise fees like management, incentive/carry etc., as assigned, requiring a strong understanding of financial concepts.
  • Ensuring end-customer satisfaction/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) satisfaction and process efficiency, contributing to a positive customer experience.
  • Keeping clients/CRM informed about expected delays and reasons thereof, providing transparent communication and a plan of action.
  • Ensuring all deliverables are achieved as per defined timelines and with expected quality for our clients/CRM.
  • Participating in calls/meetings between team, client/CRM to help set expectations right and document same to clear understanding gaps.
  • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of various applications used to complete tasks, showcasing technical expertise.
  • Performing root cause analysis of problems and escalating to manager as needed, requiring strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
