Job Overview

You will have a multi-faceted role, wherein you will be required to assume a front-end plus backend role to help ensure the success of clients using Marquee Equity services, and manage Marquee Equity's relationships with them on an ongoing basis.

As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with clients across various sectors and geographies as well as stages of their business operations. You will be responsible for creating deal documents such as pitch decks, financial models, business plans, teasers, etc. for clients.

Additionally, you will advise and consult clients by structuring their funding rounds in light of current market conditions & suitable investor needs. This requires an understanding of the private investment market vis-a-vis funding ask, valuation, financial models, business projections, etc.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, and a high level of professionalism. You must be able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the startup fundraising/venture capital industry and has prior experience in this field. Knowledge of CFA Level 1 or 2 is also preferred but not necessary.

We offer a remote work arrangement, so you can work from wherever you like - you don't have to attend the office on a day-to-day basis. We provide a laptop and internet connection, and you will have access to our global network of investors.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and ensure quality services are delivered to clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of prior Investment Banking/Investment Analyst experience is preferred.
  • CFA Level 1 or 2 passed candidates preferred.
  • Knowledge/prior experience with startup fundraising/venture capital industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent written & spoken English is required.
