Alternative Asset Fund Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fund Accounting Manager. As a key member of our Centre of Excellence, you will play a vital role in the governance, control, and management of financial reporting processes for designated funds/entities.

You will be responsible for leading and supporting the oversight and delivery of monthly/quarterly financial, investor, and regulatory reporting. Additionally, you will oversee high-level knowledge of various strategies/assets classes, support the annual financial statement review, and manage the audit process in line with KPIs.

You will interact with fund administrators to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and investor reporting. You will also lead/support designated fund cash and liquidity management, including bridge facilities, treasury positions, and counterparty exposure.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing monthly bank reconciliations, reviewing invoices in adherence with firm-wide and fund-specific policies, and supporting the end-to-end payment process of invoices, including recharge costs to the fund.

You will assist in monitoring compliance of the fund LPA and side letter agreements, develop operational risk best practices, and risk mitigation strategies for the overall betterment of fund accounting.

Furthermore, you will provide active support to the Fund Accounting Lead COE on internal deliverables and ensure they are always prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in private equity/alternative asset industry, CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or master's degree in finance/accounting/business. You will have at least 10+ PQE in either fund administration, private equity & venture capital, and/or accounting experience gained in an asset manager or fund administrator.

You will possess strong knowledge of private fund structures (debt and/or equity) and reporting requirements. Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and PowerPoint, are essential. Your analytical skills should enable you to meet deadlines and solve problems with attention to detail.
