Purpose of the Job

The Shift Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of data centers, guaranteeing reliability and efficiency. This involves overseeing daily activities, managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), owning Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SLAs, performing Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Safety - Disaster Recovery (DRs), Audit Readiness - certification follow-ups, Compliance - Space management - Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Core Filed - Electrical Panels - High-Tension (HT) 110/33KV /11KV, Transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Chillers, Packaged Air Handling Unit (PAHU), Package Air Conditioning (PAC), Air Handling Unit (AHU), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), HSD, Energy Management, Integrated Building Management System (IBMS), Chiller Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the shift team and ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned activities with effective communication.
  2. Track and close complaints within the SLA deviation timeframe.
  3. Manage incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with timely recommendations, and conduct periodic RCA reviews.
  4. Maintain asset management, warranty, Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), lifecycle, and capacity management.
  5. Track and complete 5 PPM tasks with Target Achievable Time (TAT) and OEM cooperation to ensure 100% equipment availability.
  6. Manage vendors with Return Acceptance Test (RAT) and TAT on complaints, ensuring uptime for redundant equipment.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory records as per Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements.
  8. Coordinate with the Central Engineering Team for customer-related inquiries and submit reports on time.
  9. Ensure 100% compliance with periodic trackers.
  10. Maintain physical security processes.
  11. Prepare risk assessments and periodic validations based on incidents and RCA.
  12. Update inventories up-to-date with capacity vs actual vs balance on monthly bases, including customer details on Rack inventory.
  13. Submit all reports on time according to agreed timelines.
  14. Achieve 100% audit and compliance.
  15. Demonstrate knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).Required Skills and Qualifications
    1. Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree.
    2. Proven work experience in the Data Center Industry.
    3. Solid technical background with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
    4. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
