Overview:

In this key leadership position, you will oversee the operational aspects of our banqueting and catering services. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional events, ensuring guest satisfaction, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations for all banquet and catering functions, including planning, execution, and team management.
  • Collaborate with sales, culinary, and service teams to deliver outstanding corporate, social, and wedding events.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for seamless event logistics, from setup through execution and close-out.
  • Maintain quality standards, guest satisfaction, and service delivery across all events and catering operations.
  • Lead and mentor teams in banqueting, kitchen stewarding, and F&B; recruit, train, and manage departmental staff.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and drive efficiencies for maximum profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, food handling, and local regulations.
  • Nurture client relationships to maximize repeat business and event referrals.
  • Analyze operational metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvements in processes and performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors for supplies, décor, AV, and event needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years' operational leadership experience in banqueting and catering in hotels or high-volume venues.
  • Demonstrated expertise in team management, event operations, and logistical planning.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of handling premium events and client satisfaction.
  • Proficient with MS Office, event management systems, and financial controls.
