Job Description:

As a Hotel Sales Executive at Chemmanur International Holidays and Resorts, you will lead and manage all day-to-day activities related to the hotel sales function. Your primary focus will be on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of organisational objectives.

Working closely with the management team, you will create and implement a sales plan that addresses revenue, customers, and the market for the segment. This will involve hotel business strategies, planning, evaluating, implementing, and continuously improving all aspects of hotel sales functions and processes, as well as recognising potential opportunities.

You will work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the resorts. Your goal will be to maximise all revenue opportunities to achieve stretched monthly and annual targets as per budgets and manage sales and cash flow in a result-focused environment.

Effective sales presentations and closing deals with corporates and key B2B agents will be a key aspect of your role, as well as maintaining strong client relationships with OTA, agents, and corporates.

Developing new feeder markets, identifying potential customers and business opportunities, acquiring and developing new business accounts, and constantly liaising with CRM for inventory management and resort leadership for revenue management will also be part of your responsibilities.

You will be responsible for planning and developing marketing strategies and promotion plans, as well as planning and participating in sales events, trade shows, and exhibitions.

Developing relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities will be a key aspect of your role, as well as hiring, training, motivating, and coaching the HSD team as per plans and budgets.

Analysing and reporting on sales and financial data, reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly basis on HSD performance to the leadership team, and annual budget preparation, sales and marketing plan, and its execution will be your responsibilities.

Required Skills:

Should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 10 years plus work experience in hotel sales departments and managed high-volume sales functions at a senior level.

Able to balance between task and people orientation.

Ready for a fast-paced corporate environment and able to thrive under pressure.

Strong selling skills and techniques and possess sound knowledge of the Indian and International market.

Strong communication skills.

Experience: 10 years overall experience with a background in direct selling.

Qualifications: Graduate and above.
