Senior Health Safety Officer

Key Job Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the safe execution of oil & gas Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about health, safety and environmental compliance and will play a key role in promoting a safety-first culture across all project phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in HSE in any industry, with at least 1 year experience in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects/operations/production in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificate is mandatory.
- Additional HSE trainings/certifications are an added advantage.
Essential Competencies:
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently.
Job Requirements:
- Conduct HSE orientation sessions for workers.
- Implement HSE plans, welfare plans, emergency response procedures/plans, and site-specific HSE procedures/work instructions.
- Practical experience in implementation of Standardized Safe Operating Work practices (SSOW), including Permit-To-Work (PTW)/Work Management System (WMS)/Risk Assessment, etc.
- Awareness of practical Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) control measures.
- Conduct HSE inspections.
- Understand and implement incident reporting and investigation procedures.
