Product Owner Job Description

At Docyt, we're dedicated to giving businesses control of their financial data. As a Product Owner, you'll play a crucial role in achieving this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  • Create detailed product specifications, user stories, and collaborate with designers to create wireframes.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it contains well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization.
  • Coordinate product launches, ensuring effective communication and coordination across different teams.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, timelines, and changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a product owner, software developer, or in a similar product management role.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to build new products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with product management tools.
