
Business Development Leader

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by leveraging financial insights to inform strategic decisions

- Provide commercial expertise and insights to influence decision-making in a complex business environment
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives
Job Requirements:
- Post-graduate qualification with 5-8 years of experience in finance or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering results-driven financial analysis and recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP, with ability to learn new systems quickly

- Strengthen the finance operations and risk management process to improve business outcomes
- Improve process efficiency by collecting past data, reducing recording timelines, and enhancing Distributor ROI
- Participate in initiatives to unlock savings and improve hygiene
- Reduce Working Capital provisions and unlock inventory value
- Develop and execute trade spend management strategies to drive business growth
- Implement new BTL processes and drive pricing optimization through market share pool benchmarking
- Develop pre- and post-measurement culture on BTL and TTL spends
- Engage with commercial teams and leverage RTM/learning formats for personal development
- Develop financial analysis to drive business insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver financial targets and ensure effective control environment
- Bring commercial expertise and judgment to decision-making
- Optimize investments, including A&P measurement and evaluation
- Support cluster/region business partners with market financials and decision-making
- Manage credit limits, review block release, and optimize resource utilization
- Drive collection and reduce overdues by partnering with sales teams
- Review debtor estimates and forecasts to ensure no risk in accounts receivable
- Support RTM changes, annual policy changes, and system verification
- Ensure compliance with credit policy, BTL policy, TTL policy, and commercial CARM controls
- Track risks identified through TB review and review with RCFH
- Highlight AML or legacy issues and ensure resolution with legal counsel
