Job Title: Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a professional with expertise in civil engineering, specifically in hydraulics and water resources engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and preparing technical drawings for irrigation infrastructure such as dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, canal networks, and related hydraulic structures.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modeling tools is necessary for this role.
  • Design hydraulic structures using standard engineering codes and software to ensure efficient water distribution.
  • Develop micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs, and hydraulic profiles for optimal water use.
  • Prepare detailed technical documents, BOQs, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including survey, GIS, and geotechnical teams for integrated project designs.
  • Support the preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports) by providing accurate technical information.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and review discussions with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

The successful candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in the design and drawing of dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.

Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics is essential for this role.

Familiarity with WRD, CWC, government guidelines, and state irrigation department practices is an added advantage.

Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills are required for this position.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team is necessary for success.

Education:

A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering is mandatory.
