Npd Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled NPD project lead to spearhead new product development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading solutions for new components, driving APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and managing interactions with customers and suppliers. This role requires a strong focus on cost improvement and value analysis to ensure successful new product launches.

  • Component Development: Lead the development of new components in accordance with new project requirements.
  • Quality Planning & Approval: Drive the execution of APQP and PPAP processes, ensuring all quality planning and approval requirements are met for new products.
  • Customer & Supplier Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for customer interaction and supplier interaction throughout the new product development lifecycle.
  • Cost Improvement: Provide VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) support and approval to enhance profitability.
  • Solution Leadership: Take responsibility for leading solutions for new components, ensuring technical feasibility and successful integration.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an NPD manager or in a similar role within new product development.
  • Strong background in component development and project management.
  • Expertise in driving APQP and PPAP processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer interaction and supplier collaboration.
  • Knowledge and experience in VA/VE support and approval.
