Electrify Your Career as a Powertrain Engineering Leader

Take on the challenge of driving innovation in EV motor technologies and leading high-performing engineering teams. We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our powertrain engineering efforts and collaborate with executive leadership on strategic roadmap development.

  • Leadership Opportunities
  • Develop and execute overall engineering strategies aligned with company vision for EV motor development.
  • Lead R&D initiatives in advanced motor design, efficiency improvements, noise & vibration reduction, and thermal management.
  • Manage end-to-end product engineering lifecycle: concept, design, prototyping, testing, validation, and industrialization.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Hands-on experience with advanced simulation tools like JMAG, SPEED, and Motor-CAD for motor performance optimization.
  • Apply design rules for motors, e-drives, and controllers to ensure durability, manufacturability, and performance.
  • Certification and Compliance
  • Oversee rigorous testing protocols: durability, thermal cycling, EMI/EMC, high-voltage safety, and reliability.
  • Drive certification processes for new product launches in Indian and export markets.
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with OEM clients to translate their requirements into engineering solutions.
  • Build, mentor, and lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 15-25 years in engineering/R&D, with at least 7-10 years leading teams in EV motors, e-drives, or automotive powertrain systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electromagnetic and mechanical design (JMAG, SPEED, Motor-CAD), motor/controller topologies (PMSM, BLDC, Induction, Axial Flux) and their control strategies.
  • Ability to balance cost, performance, and time-to-market while ensuring profitability and competitiveness.

Education

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering;
