Risk and Protection Educational Qualification Graduate PG PhD qualification in Engineering Mechanical Electronics Automotive Material Science WON certified Qualification in IP Law will be an advantage WIPO DL101 DFSS and TRIZ CL3 or higher certification Qualified Patent Agent Exam will be an advantage Purpose of the Role 1 Review NPD designs and identify potential areas for IP legal risk plan IP check and carry out risk mitigation and strengthen culture of technology NPD through timely IP protection 2 Develop search strategies carry out search analysis for FTO SOA invalidation opposotion litigation etc draft patent applications review recommend for filing develop desirable IP portfolio globally foreign filing recommendation 3 Achieve timely FTO for Norton designs overcome IP hurdles in collaboration with technical teams using advanced tools like TRIZ 4 Perform advanced technology LRP related search analysis including competitive intelligence analysis Design IP protection of transportation design engineering across business clusters 5 Conduct all types of IP Search analytics tasks towards meeting business challenges from time to time 6 Develop and sustain desirable IP culture among R D teams through various trainings workshops R R programs encouraging protection of IP etc Role Responsibilities 1 Be passionate to drive IP culture review designs for IP initiate actions to de-risk Norton designs products current future 2 Perform advanced patent competitor portfolio analysis for patent literature as well as non-patent literature Leverage tools like IT Data analytics for effective search analysis of IP 3 Perform state-of-art analysis as required work closely with IP attorney legal associates and close IP FTO opinion reports in timely manner Review and recommend FTO decision for IP tests 3 Perform state-of-art analysis as required work closely with IP attorney legal associates and close IP FTO opinion reports in timely manner Review and recommend FTO decision for IP tests 4 Plan conduct BOM FTO reviews for NPD at product level across automotive technology domains implement best-in-class practices standardise processes and enhance productivity through digitilisation Periodically sign-off IP test plans with design teams and recommend IP protection Process IDF in timely manner keep lean cost strategy 5 Release periodic IP alerts -
