Role Title Headmistress - Kindergarten KG Reporting To Principal Academic Director School Management Position Overview The KG Headmistress is responsible for the overall management academic leadership and administrative functioning of the Kindergarten section She ensures the delivery of high-quality early childhood education by fostering a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners Key Roles and Responsibilities1 Academic Leadership Plan implement and oversee the curriculum and lesson plans aligned with the school s vision and educational standards Ensure that teaching methodologies are age-appropriate innovative and child-centered Monitor and evaluate teachers lesson delivery and students learning outcomes Organize and oversee assessment and evaluation systems for students Encourage the use of play-based learning and experiential education 2 Staff Management and Development Recruit train and supervise KG teachers and support staff Conduct regular staff meetings performance reviews and classroom observations Identify professional development needs and organize workshops or training sessions Promote a collaborative motivated and positive work environment among staff 3 Student Welfare and Development Ensure each child s physical emotional and social well-being Oversee discipline safety and hygiene in the KG section Support children with special learning needs through early identification and intervention Encourage moral values creativity and confidence among students 4 Administration and Operations Prepare and manage the KG section s budget resources and facilities Maintain attendance records progress reports and student portfolios Coordinate timetables events and activities specific to the Kindergarten Ensure compliance with school policies educational regulations and safety standards 5 Parent and Community Relations Maintain effective communication with parents through meetings reports and newsletters Address parental concerns in a professional and empathetic manner Organize parent orientation programs open houses and family engagement events Build partnerships with the community and external agencies when needed 6 School Development and Innovation Participate in the school s strategic planning and contribute to the overall growth of the institution Initiate new programs or practices to enhance the KG learning environment Stay updated with current trends in early childhood education and implement best practices 7 Safety and Compliance Ensure the KG environment adheres to health safety and child protection guidelines Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness Supervise sanitation cleanliness and food safety if applicable Job Type Permanent Pay 35 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Application Question s HAVE YOU PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN SCHOOL OR EDUCATIONAL INSTUTUTION YES NO HOW MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN KG ADMINISTRATION HAVE YOU LED ANY CBSE SCHOOLFOR INSPECTIONS OR ACCREDITATION PROCESS YES NO Work Location In person
