We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Engineer to lead the design and development of column internals.

This individual will play a crucial part in process design, performance evaluation, and customer support to deliver high-efficiency solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize column internals to improve mass transfer processes
  • Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation applications
  • Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals
  • Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals for clients
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
  • 2-5 years of experience in process design or mass transfer
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS
  • Strong understanding of distillation principles and heat & mass transfer
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations
  • Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD)

Bonus Requirements:

  • Familiarity with chemical plant operations and maintenance
