About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Remote Chemistry Specialist to join our team of experts in advancing the capabilities of large language models. This is an exceptional chance for individuals with a strong foundation in chemistry to work on cutting-edge projects and further their career in an AI-first world.

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field, and have excellent research and analytical skills. They should be able to break down complex chemistry problems into simple explanations and work efficiently.

  • You will spend time solving advanced chemistry problems, including those at the undergraduate and graduate level, and creating detailed explanations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and explain complex organic reaction mechanisms, providing textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  • Solve challenging problems involving chemical equilibrium, accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams, and explain the process using text and visuals.
  • Address problems involving stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry, typical of Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level questions, utilizing textual, visual, and diagrammatic explanations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
