Engineering Leadership Position

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team in establishing a robust product engineering process for new and emerging product lines.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to take charge of end-to-end product engineering requirements, and drive execution of the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with strategy, product, and business teams to create a product roadmap.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to help engineers work efficiently and solve technology problems effectively.
  • Own all non-functional requirements for products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of engineering team members.
  • Responsible for full-stack product development and release within agreed timeframes.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Experience in product development is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methods.
  • Adept at using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch.
  • Value progress over perfection and have a track record of shipping value to customers.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue, and back-end technologies like Node.js.
  • Well-versed in service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Built and shipped features for high-traffic web applications.
  • Familiarity with databases like MySQL or MongoDB.
  • Good understanding of observability tools to identify and isolate problems.

Qualifications & Experience: BE/B.Tech or any equivalent degree with 12-20 years of relevant experience.
