Job Description

The Guest Services Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests. This role involves handling guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

The Guest Services Associate will also be responsible for securing payment, activating/reissuing room keys, and ensuring that rates match market codes. They will need to verify/adjust billing for guests and communicate with other staff members when guests are waiting for an available room.

Additionally, the Guest Services Associate will be responsible for advising guests of messages, clearing departures in the computer system, and coordinating with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns. They will also need to file guest paperwork or documentation and operate the telephone switchboard station.

Other responsibilities include running and checking daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports. The Guest Services Associate will also be responsible for supplying guests with directions and information, answering, recording, and processing all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
