Senior Windows Administrator

The Senior Windows Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Windows Server environment, including setup, Active Directory design, and PowerShell automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Windows Server management and a strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows Server Management: Setup and configuration of Windows Server 2008-2022, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
  • Active Directory Expertise: Design, replication, user/group management, and troubleshooting of Active Directory.
  • PowerShell Automation: Development of complex scripts for automation, reporting, and bulk operations using PowerShell.
  • Patch and Security Management: WSUS/SCCM patch management, NTFS security, firewall configuration, and antivirus management.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Design and implementation of backup strategies using Veeam, Windows Backup, and recovery planning.
  • Virtualization and Monitoring: Hyper-V, VMware, VM lifecycle management, SCOM monitoring, Event Viewer, and PerfMon troubleshooting.
  • Storage and RDS: RAID configuration, iSCSI deployment, and RDS server setup.
  • Certificates and Compliance: PKI, SSL certificate management, and audit policy enforcement.
