The role of a Patent Proofreader at Clairvolex is a pivotal one in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patent applications and issued patents. We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any subject, preferably Science or English, who possesses excellent knowledge of US Patent Prosecution Life Cycle. With a minimum 2-4 years of hands-on Patent Proofreading work experience, you will be able to apply technical knowledge, analyse data from several sources, and solve problems by applying precedent or extrapolating from previous experience.
Key responsibilities include proofreading US Patent Applications, preparing COCs, calculating patent term adjustments and expiries, adhering to standard operating procedures, and reviewing patents for errors in grammar, punctuation, antecedents, scientific terms, complex structures, numerical tables, mathematical formula, consistency of terms, amendments incorporation, critical bibliographic details etc.
We also require strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to follow instructions in the English language, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Additionally, you should possess patience and perseverance to learn the subject matter and skill in use, while being flexible to work beyond hours and willing to travel if required.
This position offers an estimated salary range of ₹12,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
