About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to work with our customers in India to attain design wins and qualification of Micron memory products in their applications.
  • You will provide technical support to customers and our field sales force, including applications advice, product recommendations, and technical problem resolution.
  • Travel frequently to meet with customers and determine their needs for new products and/or features.
  • Collaborate with marketing/design engineering to determine the feasibility of specific new products and generate design objectives in the form of functional specifications.
  • Develop and deliver product training to our field sales force, distribution sales people, and customers.
  • Work closely with QA and marketing to review and respond to product specifications and technical questionnaires submitted by customers.
  • Identify and communicate the need for Marketing Communication literature (product guides, cross references, advertisements, etc.).

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in semiconductors, ideally in the IT Hardware channel, PC hardware ecosystem, or Memory & Storage industry.
  • Experience working with manufacturer representatives and distributors in the IT/PC hardware channel segment.
  • Selling to strategic enterprise and corporate clients, as well as working with Key SI and VARs covering storage solutions across India.
  • Strong relationship building and clear communication skills.
  • Frequent business travel is required.

Education: BE/BTech in EE/EC or equivalent degree.

Estimated Salary: ₹60 lakhs - ₹80 lakhs per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
