Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Uppteam. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a sales funnel by generating leads through cold calling, emailing, and other lead generation activities.
  • Manage incoming queries and build strong client relationships.
  • Qualify leads by identifying key decision-makers and understanding client requirements.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls/emails.
  • Prepare for prospect calls by researching company backgrounds and gathering relevant lead information.
  • Monitor customer buying trends and provide reports to management.
  • Update and maintain CRM systems for leads, prospects, and sales opportunities.
  • Handover qualified leads to the sales team for closing.
  • Create and maintain account lists and contact databases to support lead generation efforts.
  • Consistently meet weekly/monthly targets as set by the business.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role with a strong track record in outbound sales through calling and emailing.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms and CRM tools.
  • Experience in customer service and relationship building and management is highly desirable.
  • Industry experience in B2B services is mandatory.
  • Exposure to the AEC industry is preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Should possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Should be proactive, willing to learn and a strong team player.
  • Should be tech savvy and comfortable using a combination of lead nurturing tools.
  • Essentially a go-getter with a keen eye to spot new opportunities in global markets.

Preferred Domain Experience:

  • Experience in the USA market is highly preferred.
  • AEC industry or outsourcing services for the AEC sector.
