Deputy Manager Engineering

As a Deputy Manager in the Engineering Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities.

  • Develop and implement business strategies that align with the hotel's overall mission and vision.
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the Engineering Department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and teamwork.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and renovation of hotel facilities, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and government agencies to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of accountability and integrity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 10-14 years' experience in hotel engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a working knowledge of building management systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
