Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as an IT Service Desk Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving incidents within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

About the Role

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, or remote desktop access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
  • Log all incidents and requests accurately in the service management tool.
  • FOLLOW standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Support remote users and ensure proper functionality of VPN, remote desktops, and other remote access tools.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setups and deactivations.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in a Service Desk / IT Support role (1–6 years preferred).
  • Good understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
