Job Overview

The Fabric Administrator manages organization-wide settings and resources within Microsoft Fabric. This role encompasses responsibilities such as user management, workspace administration, security, and capacity management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Power BI self-service governance process that ensures data accuracy and reliability.
  • Create interactive administration dashboards to monitor capacity usage by departments and other business units.
  • Lead a team of business intelligence engineers in designing and delivering actionable Power BI dashboards that provide strategic insights to stakeholders.
  • Contribute thought leadership to shape the business intelligence vision and standards.
  • Empower the analyst community through governance guidance, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Guide the development of content for Center of Excellence (COE) presentations on Power BI best practices.
  • Apply critical thinking and creativity to design innovative, non-standard BI solutions that address complex and evolving business challenges.
  • Design, build, and optimize data models to support analytics, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, including Generative AI and AI agents, to identify opportunities that enhance analytics, automation, and decision-making across the enterprise.
  • Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to direct reports, department peers, and cross-functional team members.
  • Set goals, participate in strategic initiatives for the team, and foster the development of high-performance teams.
  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and governance frameworks.
