Job Title: Facilities Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Operations Specialist. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing various tasks and duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate utility equipment as necessary to maintain efficient facility operations
  • Monitor and record parameters of all utility equipment according to established checklists
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns of utility equipment and perform repairs or arrange for maintenance as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform shutdown activities efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities as scheduled to prevent equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
  • Report any abnormalities or issues to the Shift In-Charge for prompt attention and resolution
  • Support and perform HVAC, Carpentry, and Plumbing works as needed to maintain facility integrity
  • Identify and implement energy conservation and cost-saving initiatives to reduce waste and optimize resource usage
  • Update records accurately and maintain data integrity to support informed decision-making
  • Report incidents, accidents, and implement corrective actions and improvement activities to ensure a safe working environment
  • Adhere to HSQE standards and guidelines to ensure compliance and excellence
  • Coordinate with external suppliers to source materials and services as required
  • Implement Integrated Management System to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma in a relevant field such as Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success
