Compliance Officer

Our organization seeks a seasoned compliance expert to oversee all aspects of our adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Corporate Governance & Board Support: Ensure efficient and ethical operations by advising the board on matters of governance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including laws applicable to listed companies.
  • Acquisition & Integration: Manage the compliance functions of newly acquired companies.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks across the organization.
  • Statutory Filings: Oversee the preparation and timely filing of regulatory documents and returns with authorities.
  • Responding to Regulators: Resolve queries/ notices/ summons issued by regulatory authorities.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure continuous adherence to regulations and internal policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Qualifications: Mandatory qualified Company Secretary (CS). A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in senior compliance, corporate secretarial, or governance roles. Must have experience working in a listed company and handling M&A compliance.
  • Legal & Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate laws, financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of regulatory filings and procedures with authorities like the MCA, ROC, SEBI, and RBI.
