Job Title: ADA / PDF Accessibility Specialist

This role involves working as the end-to-end owner of accessibility delivery for US government and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA Title II/III, Section 504/508 compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct automated & manual audits for websites, portals, LMS, documents (Word, PowerPoint, PDFs), and multimedia content
• Perform real-user accessibility testing with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and keyboard-only navigation
• Provide clear, prioritized fixes and hands-on remediation support for PDFs & Office documents, videos & multimedia, third-party platforms & LMS content
• Guide developers on accessible coding practices (ARIA, semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Prepare VPATs/ACRs and client-facing accessibility conformance documentation
• Advise clients on ADA, Section 508, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and emerging US/state accessibility laws
• Support quarterly monitoring & ongoing compliance programs

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA Title II/III, Section 504/508 compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Axe, WAVE, SiteImprove, Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Proficiency in HTML5, ARIA, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Angular a plus)
• Strong documentation/reporting skills (audit findings, VPAT/ACR)
• Experience supporting federal, state, or higher education contracts preferred

Preferred Certifications:
• IAAP CPWA (Certified Professional in Web Accessibility)
• IAAP WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist)
• IAAP ADS (Accessible Document Specialist)
• DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester
• IAAP CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies)
