Job Title: Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist

 

About the Role:

Our organization is seeking an experienced AML specialist to lead a team of investigators in supporting AML alert assessment and case investigations. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on investigations, compliance processes, and regulatory issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on investigations and compliance processes
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to conduct regular risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls
  • Assist direct reports in identifying and analyzing alert/case patterns and trends
  • Deliver comprehensive written and oral reports to executive stakeholders
  • Help prioritize team workload and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing operational teams in financial crime compliance, including AML, law enforcement, Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), or fraud
  • Strong proficiency in using AML monitoring systems and related software
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear written summaries consolidating recommendations and conclusions

 

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Justice Studies, English, Journalism, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or other fields involving intensive research, writing, or data analysis
