Cloud Migration Specialist Role

Job Overview

Migrate applications to AWS cloud with expertise in system design, development, and deployment. We seek an experienced professional with knowledge of containerization, microservices, and object-oriented programming.

  • Envision system features and functionality for workload migration, modernization to cloud (AWS).
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, recommending system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development.
  • Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Develop end-to-end features, resolving implementation challenges.
  • Create detailed design artifacts, work on development, and perform code reviews.
  • Implement validation and support activities.
  • Contribute to thought leadership within the area of technology specialization.
Key Skills and Qualifications

Required skills include:

  • Containerization and microservice development on AWS.
  • Object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, Springboot, and Python technologies.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and designing cloud-ready applications.
  • Exposure to cloud compute services like VMs, PaaS services, containers, serverless, and storage services on AWS.
