Advanced Statistical Modeling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled expert in advanced statistical methodologies, mathematical optimization and machine learning to drive data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement complex statistical & machine learning models and algorithms to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in data pipelines, machine learning models, and production systems to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear and effective data visualizations and reports that facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field with a strong emphasis on statistical inference, vector calculus, linear algebra, and classical machine learning.
  • Deep knowledge of decision trees, PCA, PLS, Bayesian statistics, and other machine learning techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning environments requiring the combined application of statistical & technical skills.
  • Excellent development skills in Python with experience in popular libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex statistical concepts into practical business applications.
  • A collaborative team player with hands-on experience in an agile development environment and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
