Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to serve as the Tech Area Lead. As a senior director, you will oversee key technology decisions, manage vendor partnerships, and develop technical personnel.


Responsibilities
  • Drive the strategic direction of the portfolio
  • Partner with the functional lead to build and execute an annual business plan
  • Establish roadmaps and guardrails
  • Manage technological change by staying abreast of relevant developments and innovations
  • Ensure adherence to firm-wide standards
  • Develop people, manage knowledge, and coordinate resources within your portfolio
  • Support and mentor a team of deep technical experts

Requirements
  • Total 15+ years relevant experience, including proven leadership skills
  • Substantial experience in IT architecture, application development, and configuration
  • Negotiation capabilities to resolve trade-offs without escalating
  • Proven analytical skills, business acumen, and decision-making ability
  • Financial literacy and understanding of budget processes
  • A deep understanding of the area of expertise and common challenges
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience in consulting is a plus
