IT Head

">Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing the IT department and ensuring the smooth operation of all systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team.

  • Assist with upgrading information security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Develop risk management plans and work effort documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and business acumen to design and implement secure solutions that meet customer needs while protecting corporate assets.
  • Develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging computing trends and technologies such as cloud computing.
  • Experience with applications and services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Server and Application Security, Infrastructure Security (Firewalls and VPNs).
  • Plan, implement, and monitor changes in infrastructure configurations.
  • Install new servers and configure hardware.
  • Perform daily backup operations.
  • Monitor system security and performance.
  • Manage tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.
  • Work with the team to enhance current technologies to improve client services.
  • Communicate regularly with executive management on IT matters.
  • Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, guidance, and discipline.
  • Develop best practices and written documentation for server maintenance.
  • Oversee the provisioning of end-user services.
  • Manage the financial aspects of IT development.
  • Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • MBA or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of relevant technical experience in E-commerce background.
