Job Title: Chief Procurement Officer

The role of the Chief Procurement Officer is a strategic position that leads and directs procurement efforts to maximize value for the organization. This individual must have the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal and external partners, to achieve business objectives.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement organizational procurement strategies and plans that align with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure effective procurement processes and practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate and select appropriate procurement systems and technologies.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and develop cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and supplier negotiations.
  • Manage and oversee procurement staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of procurement tasks.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably with exposure to executive teams.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or similar ERP products.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
