**Job Role:** System Support Specialist

Job Overview:

This role plays a vital part in maintaining and supporting the access control and CCTV systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assistance:
    • Provide configuration support for access control and CCTV systems
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to access control CCTV systems and other CSI applications
    • Offer remote assistance to internal clients on system configuration
    • Track system problems until resolution within agreed time limits
    • Escalate unresolved issues to relevant internal teams
    • Document technical knowledge in a dedicated file repository/knowledge base
  • Server Support:
    • Install and configure security system applications on servers
    • Monitor application services hosted on servers 24/7
    • Properly escalate unresolved issues to relevant internal teams
  • Other Key Responsibilities:
    • Respond promptly and professionally to emergency service calls during working hours and off-hours, including nights
    • Involves other team members to establish best practices and decision-making processes
    • Act independently as required
    • Report to senior management to ensure job satisfaction
    • Participate in departmental meetings
