About the Role

This technical leadership position involves designing, deploying, and maintaining Mizuho's IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include hands-on engineering, stakeholder coordination, and project oversight to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design secure and scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Lead infrastructure projects across networking, servers, storage, and cloud
  • Serve as SME for Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, and backup/recovery systems
  • Provide mentorship to infrastructure engineers and support teams
  • Ensure high availability of core infrastructure services including compute, storage, and network
  • Define and enforce configuration standards, patching cycles, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Oversee incident and problem resolution for infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with application, security, and network teams on integrated solutions
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory standards, and audit controls
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure upgrades and migration initiatives
