Role & responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

  • Manage service levels of Cloud operations.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, and virtualization platforms both on premise and cloud services.
  • Manage data centre operations ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and backup processes.
  • Implement capacity planning and infrastructure optimization to support business needs.

Network & Security

  • Manage enterprise-wide network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN) ensuring secure and seamless connectivity.
  • Establish and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools.
  • Lead security initiatives including vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance with IT security policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen posture against threats and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.

Governance & Service Management

  • Define and monitor SLAs for IT infrastructure services.
  • Drive adherence to ITIL best practices in incident, problem, and change management.
  • Prepare and manage infrastructure budgets, vendor contracts, and service providers.
  • Ensure infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and compliance audits are up to date.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor infrastructure and support teams.
  • Work closely with application, digital, and business teams to deliver reliable IT services.
  • Provide technical guidance for IT transformation and modernization projects (cloud, hybrid infrastructure, automation).

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors/master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong technical expertise in:

  • Network technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.)

  • Security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, etc.)
  • Data centre and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc.)

  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP – desirable).

  • Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale IT networks and secure data centre environments.

  • Certifications preferred: CCNP/CCIE, CISSP/CISM, ITIL, VCP, or cloud certifications.
