Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to lead our team of network engineers. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our global network infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our network services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of network engineers, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure their success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of network engineers in the design, implementation, and management of our global network infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain standards and best practices for network configuration, security, and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members to ensure their success
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise in network infrastructure technologies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and management
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSPF
  • Experience with network management tools, such as NetFlow and sFlow
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Desirable Skills

The following skills would be advantageous:

  • CCNP or CCIE certification in R&S or Wireless
  • Experience with cloud-based network infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of wireless site surveys and network assessments
  • Expertise in network troubleshooting and problem-solving
