Job Overview:

The role of Closeout Coordinator- Telecom entails overseeing the closeout process across various project stages. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project documentation and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate, manage, and coordinate all steps necessary for project closeout, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain and update project data in designated planning tools while collaborating with project controls team members to verify information accuracy and integrity.
  • Oversee the return of confirmed surplus materials through RMA processes, ensuring items are appropriately recorded in warehouse and PeopleSoft.
  • Maintain regular communication with project-assigned Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Assist scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required and serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to quality team.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to scoping team as necessary.
  • Own final turnover package, which includes reviewing turnover deliverables submitted by General Contractor, regularly following up with GCs regarding deliverables, and suggesting minor corrections or rejecting unacceptable documents.
  • Act as sole approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft, new Purchase Orders will be assigned to Closeout Coordinator as needed in Smartsheet.
  • Manage all JVizion tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ Industry experience is required.
  • Good understanding of engineering concepts is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications is required.
  • Engineering certification in related discipline is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard materials is preferred.
  • Construction management background is beneficial.
  • Telecommunication Experience of any kind is beneficial.
  • Should be able to support US Eastern Time Zone.

Education:

A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience is required.
