Portfolio Strategist Role

This position is focused on driving growth through strategic portfolio management. As a Portfolio Strategist, you will lead research and analysis to identify new product opportunities in Emerging Markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to pinpoint opportunities across therapies based on medical and marketing feasibility.
  • Analyze secondary market data to understand available opportunities across therapies.
  • Preliminary IP landscaping of products with respect to patents globally.
  • Develop and update business cases for proposed products selected for portfolio meetings.
  • Stay current on market updates, including label expansions, competition entry, safety warnings, and quarterly sales for innovator brands.
  • Analyze competitors to remain up-to-date on market trends.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the IP landscape in pharma across markets.
  • Familiarity with pharma regulatory requirements in the US, EU, and Emerging markets.
  • Understanding of formulation selection processes, including medical uniqueness, commercial forecast, and fitment with technical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategy.
  • Expertise in data platforms such as IQVIA, Corelli's, IPD analytics, and Global data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

3-5 years in portfolio, strategy, and/or IPM roles preferred.
