Job Opportunity:

Head Electrical Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a seasoned electrical maintenance expert to lead our team and drive electrical maintenance activities in the plant.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure timely implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Equipment Performance Monitoring: Monitor equipment performance, identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance maintainability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Inter-Departmental Coordination: Liaise with other departments to coordinate inter-discipline work activities and optimize plant shutdowns.

Store Management:

  • Inventory Optimization: Review requirements for new equipment or major repairs and evaluate use of existing resources.
  • Material Sourcing: Ensure no material shortages and optimize consumables consumption based on annual business plans.

Workplace Safety and Efficiency:

  • 5S Activities: Implement 5S activities daily to maintain a clean and organized shop floor.
  • Safety Protocols: Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment by all employees.
  • Safety Training: Conduct regular safety talks and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Quality Enhancement: Analyze quality-related issues and suggest changes to improve production processes.

Team Leadership:

  • Performance Reviews: Complete departmental performance reviews and skill assessments.
  • Employee Engagement: Encourage team members to participate in employee engagement activities.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: 15-20 years of experience in Cold Rolling Mill Electrical Maintenance.
