Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment maintenance.

The successful applicant will support the Maintenance Department and administer the complete management of engineering, electrical, and civil maintenance activities for the facility.

This role will involve preventive maintenance planning, repair estimation, vendor performance monitoring, and safety inspections.

The incumbent will partner and support the Operations Department in resolving technical issues related to equipment breakdowns, improving maintenance practices, and ensuring smooth facility operations.

This role will also coordinate activities related to fuel and electricity management, spare part inventory, and facility compliance with safety and environmental standards.

  • Preventive maintenance planning and execution
  • Supervision of electrical, mechanical, and firefighting equipment maintenance
  • Vendor performance monitoring and maintenance material management
  • Compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety First: Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  2. Preventive Maintenance Planning: Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
  3. Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance and manage maintenance materials to ensure timely delivery and quality products.
  4. Facility Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with safety and environmental standards by implementing and maintaining effective systems and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline or certifications in Maintenance Management/Facilities Management is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and manage preventive maintenance and repair activities.
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and their application to maintenance.
