Job Description">

As a seasoned maintenance professional, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations in our production plant. Your expertise in maintenance and utilities management will play a crucial role in supporting the plant manager.

  • Reporting to the plant manager

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical/instrumentation)
  • Professional certifications: energy manager, boiler engineer, TPM facilitator, six sigma
  • 10 years of experience in maintenance & utilities management in a large dairy/food/pharma plant

Responsibilities:

  • Managing milk processing equipment such as pasteurisers, separators, bactofuges, vacuum pumps, DSI, high pressure pumps, blowers, fluid bed, sifter, cheddar master, cooker etc.
  • Overseeing utilities equipment like boilers, steam networks, ammonia and freon based refrigeration systems, compressed air and nitrogen generation systems, VAM, RO and UF, sand and carbon filters, pumps, DG sets, transformers etc.
  • Implementing advanced maintenance practices like RCA, CAPA, MTBF, MTTR, preventive and predictive maintenance, electronics equipment monitoring tools and tackles.
  • Preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets, setting and improving energy standards, identifying and executing cost and energy saving ideas.
  • Executing and achieving plant KPIs like productivity, losses and complaint reduction, specific energy consumption, production lines OEE improvement.
  • People management: capable of managing a team of 100 people, identifying training needs of the maintenance team, performance assessment, and inculcating a human safety culture.
  • Analytical thought process to bring new concepts in maintenance practices, energy management, setting new standards.
  • Liaisoning with government agencies like factory, boiler and electrical inspector, local administration.
  • Experience in CapEx, project execution, knowledge of AI and ML application, EMS would be an added advantage.
