We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Plant & Machinery Manager.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the plant and machinery industry, with experience in high-rise towers. They will be responsible for overseeing the erection, dismantling, maintenance, and operation of complex equipment such as tower cranes, passenger hoists, and placer booms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erecting, dismantling, maintaining, and operating Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, etc.
  • Developing methodology for equipment erection, operation, and preparation of checklists.
  • Controlling spare parts inventory and cost optimization.
  • Sourcing plant and machinery operators, mechanics, etc.
  • Generating monthly MIS reports for the Mechanical Head at HO/Project In charge.
  • Maintaining site records of equipment, including log books, preventive maintenance records, and upkeep of equipment at zonal sites.
  • Budgeting and monitoring expenses for spares and running costs for each machine on a monthly basis.
  • Training personnel on safe use of equipment and repair/servicing procedures.
  • Ensuring optimum use of plant and machinery corresponding to their rated productivity output.
  • Minimizing equipment breakdowns and maximizing availability at site.
  • Creating service schedules for each month based on hours/km running, and implementing them strictly to achieve minimum break-down of equipment's, machinery, and vehicles.
Requirements
  • Experience in plant and machinery department, specifically high-rise towers.
  • Deep knowledge of the industry and technical skills required for the role.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective methodologies for equipment erection, operation, and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
