Packing Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Packing Operations Manager to oversee our daily packing operations. This role is responsible for managing a team of packing staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and improving packing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate activities of workers engaged in packing products
  • Ensure all packing operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, inspecting packed items for accuracy and presentation
  • Train, evaluate, and provide guidance to packing staff
  • Develop and implement productivity goals, ensuring timely order fulfillment
  • Maintain inventory of packing materials and coordinate restocking as needed
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to streamline workflow
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a packing, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical demands include standing, lifting, and repetitive motion. May require overtime, evening, or weekend shifts during peak periods.
