Manager – Plant Operations

Experience : 6-8 yrs experience

Objective :

A result oriented professional with over rich experience in Agrochemical industry.

Leading and managing a team comprising the heads of departments of Safety, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Packing, Labour Allocation, Labelling, Maintenance etc.

Proven experience in pesticide bulk formulation production management

Proven skills in managing team to work in synchronization with the management set parameters and motivating them for achieving the Key Activities in line with ABP.

An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Leading a team of members for production and Maintenance of liquid filling line, ACM, FBD, Pakonna Machine, Label machine, capping machine, pumps etc.

 Collaborate with the R&D team to incorporate new formulations and improve existing ones.

 Operational knowledge of plant machineries like AUTOMATIC MACHINE, FBD, LABEL MACHINE, CAPING MACHINE, BENDSELLER, ACM, ETC

 Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping as per of all recipe modifications and adjustments.

 Ability to establish credibility and be decisive and able to recognize and support the organizations preferences and priorities.

 Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while cutting unnecessary costs and adhering to quality standards

 Budgeting & Cost Control : Ensure optimum utilization of resources incl. men, machine, and material.

 Review & ensure SOP compliance on shop floor.

 Ensure the delivery of products as per the delivery schedule of sales.

 Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment are carried out as per schedule and breakdown under complete control.

 Planning / organizing of: material / manpower / machinery by creating the monthly plan of production and coordinate with the corporate teams to ensure availability of manpower, material, etc.

 Ensure production and storage of all products according to the set guidelines. Ensure carrying out internal & external plant audits.

 To ensure the training and development of staff and workers

 Responsible for preparation of daily & monthly report for management.

 Responsible for bottleneck and process improvement at plant, Creating continual improvement culture at plant.

 Responsible for reporting of all production deviations and evaluation. Also responsible for investigation of critical deviations and recording of the conclusions.

 Responsible for the maintaining premises and equipment and maintaining records.

 Responsible for the validation protocols and reports. Also responsible for review of the same.

 Evaluating proposed changes in product, process, or equipment.

 Responsible for qualification of new and, when appropriate, modified facilities and equipment's.

 Ensure that all the documents related to the Production activities are maintained & updated

 Ensure that all the employees of production are trained and evaluated time to time

 Responsible for Analyzing manpower requirement and organizing in consultation with HR

 Responsible for water consumption & management of effluent generation related to production activities.

 Submit monthly reports on equipment occupancy plan.

 Evaluating proposed changes in product, process, equipment, or facility.

 Review Monthly Raw Material Plan.

 Review material rejections and status of actions initiated thereafter.

 Review Utility requirement of the plant and suggest energy conservation projects from time to time.

 Advise, plan to reduce waste generation across the product line.
