Business Development Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the fuel, logistics, transportation, energy, industrial products, automation equipment, chemicals, commercial vehicles, or OEM segments.

Your primary objective will be to develop and execute a targeted client acquisition strategy to maximize market reach and drive revenue growth. This will involve building relationships with key decision-makers, delivering impactful sales presentations, and negotiating contract terms.

You will also be responsible for managing client credit cycles and ensuring timely payment. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in achieving your targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target key industries and strategic clients requiring large-scale fuel delivery solutions.
  • Build a qualified pipeline through cold outreach, client referrals, networking, and industry events.
  • Develop and execute a targeted client acquisition strategy to maximize market reach and drive revenue growth.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets through active prospecting, effective follow-ups, and closing techniques.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, proposals, and negotiate contract terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional service delivery for new clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions; provide regular sales forecasts and updates to management.
  • Manage client credit cycles and ensure timely payment.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in business development with a strong emphasis on client acquisition, ideally within the fuel, logistics, transportation, energy, industrial products, automation equipment, chemicals, commercial vehicles, or OEM segments.
  • Demonstrated success in hunting new business opportunities and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must own a vehicle and a laptop.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
