Lead Case Writer and Academic Partnership Specialist

The ideal candidate will collaborate with faculty to research, develop, and publish high-quality business case studies for academic instruction and publication. The role demands strong narrative craft, analytical rigor, and familiarity with pedagogy in business education.

To excel in this position, you will have a master's degree in Business / Management / Case Writing / Communications, or a related field, with a proven publication record of at least 10 completed and published case studies or similar works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market, industry, and organizational research to gather factual and qualitative data needed for case study development
  • Collaborate with faculty to clarify pedagogical objectives, learning outcomes, and case formats
  • Write case studies that include background context, decision points, alternative courses of action, supporting data, and teaching notes
  • Ensure factual accuracy through verification and citations; maintain academic integrity
  • Revise drafts based on feedback from faculty/stakeholders; ensure clarity, relevancy, engagement
  • Support the process of preparing cases for external publishing, case competitions, or inclusion in printed/in-house outlets
  • Meet project timelines and manage multiple case writing assignments simultaneously
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Business / Management / Case Writing / Communications, or related field; PhD preferred
  • Proven publication record: at least 10 completed and published case studies or similar works such as detailed business reports with teaching notes
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English; ability to compose narratives that are analytically strong, engaging, and pedagogically sound
  • Strong research skills, including interviewing, data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Familiarity with business case formats, and experience in academic settings or business school pedagogies
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with faculty and stakeholders
  • Good time management skills and ability to deliver under deadlines
