Production Planning Specialist

Driving the transition to a sustainable future, this role is responsible for leading project schedules to ensure timely completion.

  • Schedule Management: Design and develop project schedules using industry-standard tools.
  • Progress Evaluation: Evaluate project schedule progress and identify potential problem areas to mitigate delays.
  • Critical Path Analysis: Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the impact of changes on the schedule and recommend workarounds.
  • Reporting: Provide timely updates on project schedules and present critical areas to management.
  • Workforce Coordination: Coordinate production workflows for one or multiple products.
  • Operational Planning: Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimize delays.
  • Resource Allocation: Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to meet production demands.
  • Status Reporting: Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
  • Change Management: Lead change management topics from planning.
  • Implementation: Ensure implementation of all changes in respective projects.
  • Capacity Planning: Lead capacity planning activities and ensure creation of workload charts.
  • Site Master Planning: Develop site master plans.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Engineering degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; PMP certification is an asset.
  • Tools Knowledge: Proficient in Primavera, SAP, MS Project, and Kinaxis.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Production/Project/Industrial Planning in manufacturing industries.
