Electrical Engineer

As a skilled electrical engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing and managing complex electrical systems for highway projects. This involves overseeing the installation of electrical works such as highway lighting, high mast lighting and solar lighting. You will also verify and certify bills for electrical works, conduct quality control checks and site inspections, prepare project documentation including progress reports and technical specifications, and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for highway projects.
  • Oversee the installation of electrical works including highway lighting, high mast lighting and solar lighting.
  • Verify and certify bills for electrical works.
  • Conduct quality control checks and site inspections.
  • Prepare project documentation including progress reports and technical specifications.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Required Skills:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices.
    • Experience with electrical systems including design and implementation.
    • Familiarity with Indian codes and standards such as IS.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6.
  • Software Skills:
    • AutoCAD.
    • MS Office.
    • SAP.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering can be advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably in highway projects.
    • Experience in project management and quality control is essential.
